James J. Burns is a founding member of MURPHY BURNS LLP.  He is an experienced trial and appellate attorney who has spent his entire career defending municipalities and their employees and representing private clients in both New York State and Federal Courts. Mr. Burns was admitted to practice in the Courts of New York State in 1988.  He is also admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York and United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.
